ADHD Therapy
What does ADHD therapy consist of?
As an ADHDer myself, I recognize the importance of using a neurodivergent lens when working with neurodivergent folks in therapy. In my practice, I am dedicated to supporting adults and couples as they navigate the unique strengths and challenges posed by ADHD. I work to provide affirming, comprehensive therapy that empowers individuals and partners to thrive amidst ADHD-related complexities.
ADHD can manifest differently in adults, often impacting focus, organization, emotional regulation, and communication within relationships. My therapeutic approach is designed to address these challenges with understanding and compassion, offering tailored support to individuals and couples seeking to understand and manage ADHD's impact on their lives. Through a combination of psychoeducation, mindfulness/self-compassion practices, and personalized coping strategies, I help clients harness their strengths and navigate daily life with greater clarity and confidence.

In couples affected by ADHD, I understand the unique dynamics that can strain relationships. Our therapy sessions will focus on fostering understanding and empathy and developing more effective communication between partners. We will work collaboratively to develop strategies that accommodate the needs of both individuals, creating a supportive environment where both partners can thrive.
